ABOUT LIFESAVER

LifeSaver is an innovation programme for forward-looking governments. We focus on improving emergency medical services (EMS) and supporting economic development.

LifeSaver programmes introduce innovative solutions that address key challenges such as skilled personnel shortages, cost pressures, and an increasing number of crises.

With the combined aviation and public health expertise of Airbus and International SOS, LifeSaver creates adaptive emergency medical systems that improve patient outcomes, promote health equity in both urban and remote locations, and create business opportunities.

LifeSaver helps regions deliver improvements in EMS coverage and response times by optimising resource allocation and improving care. LifeSaver is expected to reduce mortality and morbidity from accidents and injuries over time.

LIFESAVER INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM (LSIP)

The LifeSaver Intelligence Platform (LSIP) is an open data analytics and simulation platform, specifically developed to manage complex EMS systems with external and dynamic data.

LSIP is composed of several modules that can be deployed sequentially, starting with essential capabilities such as mapping the coverage of the EMS system with current resources. Countries then add additional functionality, for example, to identify medically underserved areas based on local criteria.

Additional, customised, innovation modules, drawing on private sector innovation, help countries enhance LifeSaver’s potential impact further.

Baseline Modules

Strategic mapping of EMS coverage - air and ground - taking into account dynamic road traffic and other data. Identification of medically underserved areas and mapping of population density.

Add-On Modules

LSIP can expand to include advanced data analytics for decision-making, such as simulations for resource-optimisation and predictive modeling for demand-forecasting.

Customised Modules

The open architecture of LSIP allows other organisations to build upon the platform and develop additional customised modules, further enhancing its potential impact and fostering EMS sector innovation.

PREDICTIVE INSIGHTS

By integrating diverse data sources including demographics, infrastructure, traffic, and weather, LSIP provides retroactive, real-time, and predictive insights to make EMS more effective.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

Our data-driven approach facilitates strategic planning and resource-allocation in response to sociodemographic, climatic and other changes, to mitigate current inequities of EMS systems.
